Festivities include refreshments and the opportunity to meet the
photographer and the farmers!
Photographer Cynthia Rintala-DeMar documented the farm crew at
Burning River Farm near Frederic, WI for the 2009 growing season. The
series of photographs depict the farmers and the plants as they make
their way from greenhouse – to ground – to harvest. This show is an
educational outreach effort to promote locally grown foods and Community
Supported Agriculture (CSA) memberships. CSA member share information
from several local farms will be available. Café Wren purchases locally
grown foods from Burning River Farm and other local growers Spring -
Fall!
